Allane's Description

Allane in a massive imperial city, dating back thousands of years; though despite its age, the place is consistently kept and repaired to look as if it were built yesterday. The buildings are made of gleaming white stone with wooden roofs, and well furnished, as the city is quite wealthy. You’ll find that the streets are cobblestone with beautiful foliage on the sides.

The city is divided into districts. There is the Hearth District, where the homes of Allanians are; the Leisure District, which contains miscellaneous events for entertainment; the Royal District, which holds the castle of the royal family; and the Town Square, which holds shops and meetings.

Allane is ruled by a monarchy of elk lineage. King Hasdan and Queen Frida are quite a tolerable pair, even on the edge of benevolent. Their laws are lenient and punishments are hardly cruel, but disorder rarely gets out of hand in their dominion. For those situations there are always the Royal Shields, stationed about the city in pairs. They are a very peaceful nation, the last war being around 650 years ago.

Although war is not an issue, they’re positioned next to the dangerous and malevolent Forest of Torment. Raids by hordes of creatures is not uncommon, but it has never been too big of a problem. Who knows, though... Perhaps one day it may be too much, and the citizens of Allane will find themselves in the bellies of beasts.
