Breeds and Professions

As with areas, I also need help with Breeds and Professions. I’m pretty much finished with the Breeds, but I’m open to any suggestions. (Btw: Nondescript covers all breed mixes. This means that a type which a centaur or chimera would belong to will be denied) Right now, I need mainly Professions and skills(for both categories; currently, Avian and Feline are complete. But, if you have suggestions to change existing skills, go ahead and post them). If you have an idea, post them here in this format:


Category: Whether it's a Breed or Profession. Not necessary if you're suggesting something for an existing one.
Name: The name of your suggestion, or the name of the Breed/Profession you want to add to.
Description: If applicable.
Skill(s): Create them in this format:
[Skill Name] Skill description.
Go ahead and leave out the Sp cost, as I’ll most likely change it.
Additional: Anything extra you feel you should add.


Rewards will vary, depending on what you contribute. Unlike with areas, you only get rewards if your idea is accepted. But, it’ll go along these lines:

Breed/Profession Name: 20 exp
Description: 10-30 exp (depending on how it’s written)
Skills: 10-20 exp

Also: As you might have noticed, the current Professions and Breeds don’t have descriptions made up. So if you’d like to create them, you’ll be rewarded for those too.

Category: Profession
Name: Martial Artist
Description: Where others rely on armor and weapons, you have trained to rely purely on your incredible toughness and deadly natural weapons or fists.
Prerequisites: None
Vital Stats: PA, PD
Skill(s):
Weapon: Natural weapons (claws/fists/teeth, etc.)

[Iron Will] Martial Artist resists mind-altering/controlling effects. (Suggest this be fairly high-SP)

[Body Like Stone] Martial Artist is Invincible for three turns, prevents the Martial Artist from gaining additional status effects for the same length of time (high SP)

[Cleanse] Martial Artist removes all status effects from himself (High SP)

[Accelerated Healing] Martial Artist gains the Regen effect. (Moderate SP)

[Stance of Reckless Fury] Increases Martial Artist's PA and MA but lowers his PD and MD by an equal amount. Lasts until the Martial Artist moves into another stance or ceases uses stances Using another stance ends the benefits of this one. (low/moderate SP)

[Stance of Unbreakable Calm] Increases the Martial Artist's PD and MD but lowers his PA and MA by an equal amount. Lasts until the Martial Artist moves into another stance or ceases using stances. Using another stance ends the benefits of this one. (low/moderate SP)

[Stance of Blinding Speed] Increases the Martial Artist's SD and PA but decreases their MD and PD Lasts until the Martial Artist moves into another stance or ceases using stances. Using another stance ends the benefits of this one. (low/moderate SP)

[Those Kicks Were Fast As Lighting!] Martial Artist deals two blows in quick succession (low SP)

[They Fought With Expert Timing!] Three blows in quick succession (Moderate SP)

[It Was a Little Bit Frighting!] Martial Artist inflicts startles a target (low SP)

[Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighting!] When used against a foe using anything but their natural weapons/unarmed, this move inflicts double normal damage (high SP)

[Two Fists, Two Foes] Martial Artist strikes two foes at once (Low SP)

[Sweeping Blow] Martial Artist floors opponent, decreasing their PD for 1 round (moderate SP)

[Elemental Fists] Like the Crusader, a Martial Artist can imbue his natural attacks with elements, giving them an elemental type (and switching them) (low SP)

[Crushing Blow] Deals an automatic Critical hit and dazes the target (Moderate SP)

More as I think them up/get used to how this all works again.

Category: Profession
Name: Duelist
Description: Specialists in formal duels and one-on-one combats, duelists are swift, deadly and often possess a great deal of flair. For the duelist the fight is an art - multi-foe fights are ugly brawls, but a one on one battle is gloriously beauteous. Duelists kill with style and typically manage to die with it most of the time.
Weapons: Light, elegant weapons such as swords, short swords, daggers, etc.

[Focused Fighter] Lasting as long as the fight does, the Duelist singles out a foe, gaining increased PA/PD, SD and MA/MD versus than foe, but lowering his PA/PD, SD and MA/MD against every other foe. (Automatic)

[Elegant Exsanguination] Strikes a target with a flashy blow, doing normal damage and inflicting the Bleed ailment. (moderate SP)

[Distracting Display] The duelist puts on a display (typically a weapon kata showing skill, but other displays can be used) and inflicts the Distracted ailment on a target. (Moderate SP)

[Hamstring] Using his precision and skill, the Duelist slashes his foe's joints to lessen their combat effectiveness, causing the Burn ailment (high SP)

[Thrust and Parry] Strikes a foe dealing double damage and cuts the damage from the foe's next attack in half (high SP)

[Painful Prey] When targeted with an ability like Gulp or Suck, the Duelist may use this to deal double damage to his foe and potentially force them to spit him out (high SP)

[Gloat!] The Duelist boasts about his skills, the boost in his morale giving him the Euphoria status effect.

[Blaze of Glory] Going out in the flashiest manner possible, before the Duelist drops he takes down the one who struck the blow with him. (Cannot be used in 1 on 1 PvP’s) (Identical to Guitarist skill "Sugar We're Going Down Swinging")

[Cascade of Cuts] Duelist strikes twice, inflicting two attacks in a single turn. (low SP)

[Fillet Foe] Duelist slashes the foe thrice, inflicting three attacks in a single turn (low SP)

[Duelist's Eye] Spotting the opening in a foe's defenses, the Duelist's next strike is an automatic critical

Awarded 40 exp for the two professions and 30 exp for both descriptions. 180 points have been awarded for the Martial Artist skills, and your points for the Duelist skills are on their way once the skills are complete.

Name: Macropodine
Skills:
[Sunbathe] If during the day, the user relaxes in the sunlight which increases their SP regen. {Passive}

[Ground-Abound] With large hops and stomps of a Macropodine's muscled legs, the user doubles their speed by bouncing along the battlefield. {SP: ---}

[Tail Swipe] The user swings their long tail beneath the enemy, causing the target to flinch. {SP: ---}

[Stomp] The user leaps high into the air, stomping down on the enemy viciously for damage and a 25% chance for Disabling them. {SP: ---}

[Alert Ears] By calming down and listening carefully, the user is able to pinpoint the enemy's movements faster, increasing their accuracy by 50% {SP: ---}

I noticed you had two more skills planned out (or planning still) so I'll leave this at five. :3 You don't have to use all of the ideas, cause after all, they are only suggestions that you can tweak anytime! Hope I helped!

Category: Spell Type

Name: Shield

Description: Instead of an offensive tactic, shield works as a defensive spell. Players can use it if there's a type difference from the enemy, or if its preparing a powerful attack. The player can use the spell to decrease the intentional damage it would've have costed. The element of the spell surrounds the player, protecting the caster or whoever the spell is casted onto to suffer a decreased amount of an attack. Damage depends on the element used, and what element type is attacking. The higher the level of the spell increases, so does its defense power. SP count is the same as all level offense spell amounts.
