QuestingA quest is when a GM (Game Master) takes a number of players into an area to fight monsters. At the end of each battle in a quest, you gain experience, items, and money, all of which are decided by the GM. You may also earn bonuses once you complete the quest, depending on your party's performance.
What you need to do to go on a quest is to contact a GM. The list of GMs is at the top of the front page in the welcome box, under the Notices and Changes section. From there, you need to ask a GM if they are available and tell them who wants to go on the quest. Another way to go about this is to post in the
Party Request board. The template for posting is there, which you need to use to give the GM and other players sufficient information.
Various Questing RulesThis section is mainly for the GM's knowledge, but players can learn useful information here as well.
Characters regenerate SP all the time, unless they are dead (they still recover points if unconscious). Even if a spell or skill is used, SP is still regained. Of course, characters cannot recover more than their max amount. Below are the way regen rates are calculated.
HP regeneration rate with a spell boost: 10% of max HP per turn
SP regeneration rate (normal): +5 per turn
SP regeneration rate with a spell boost: +15 per turn
Colors are used by GM's for special text. They are as follows:
Normal text for the players' posts, and for any GM character actions.
Green text for describing what is going on--scenery, character actions, and so on.Yellow text for when damage is dealt--such as (-15 HP).Red text for listing the stats of players and enemies.Alternative colors may be used depending on the site's background colors.
There is not yet a system for the damage amount. One will hopefully be coming up, but for now, a rough estimate is done according to what seems realistic.
